By far the best movie of the year, but I'm getting tired of these companies trying to be the first one to have a preorder up just because they can.

Ditto, I went ahead and pre ordered the 3D version for the hell of it, it's a good price, sometimes these things do go up.

That says more about how poor this year has been for movies than it does about this particular film, unfortunately.

thats a pretty cool incentive, i saw people complain about the price on another site. i don't get why, that phaser would probably cost 50-100 dollars on its own. so 100 bucks for both it and the movie (which is 20-30 itself) is a pretty good deal if you're a big star trek fan.

Well, this movie is the only movie this year that has not disappointed me in some way. I was wowed by nearly every minute of it, which I was not expecting to happen due to how good the first one was. Nevertheless, yes, this year has sucked ass whether it be the disappointing IM3, the utter pile of stank that was Great Gatsby and GI Joe, to the barely watchable Hansel & Gretel and Gangster Squad.

Well, to be fair, none of those are Oscar material

Would've been so much cooler if the tchotchke in the gift set was a Dreadnaught disc holder in scale with the Enterprise from the last gift set.

I really don't get why this bothers anyone.
