Very true to some of the Warner classics. What are your favorite looking titles?

I love how the remastered Wings for being a 1927 movie they did a amazing job. Also I like how Ben hur, gone with the wind, wizard of Oz, sound of music and Casablanca look on blu ray

I'm IN LOVE with the Universal Monsters collection, Metropolis, A Trip to the Moon, and Phantom of the Opera (1925).

Excellent choices. My favorite movie, Casablanca, just looks fantastic on blu ray.

I need to see Ben Hur and Lawrence on BR next

Ben hur and all about eve look good on blu ray. I'm waiting for Warner brothers to release the best years of our lives on blu ray since they made with deal with the studio that made it. I hear it comes out towards the end of the year.

Is there something wrong with the creature from the black lagoon 2D and 3D discs in that box set? I keep reading online that people found the discs were not working

Mine works just fine. I've watched 2D and 3D and all the features on my PS3.

I have yet to watch movies that old on Blu-Ray. The oldest I have seen is some of Patton (I own the older blu-ray), and all of Aliens (1979). I have North By Northwest but haven't watched that disc yet. I'm very intersted in picking up On The Waterfront, as I've never seen it.

You're missing out. Some of these B&W movies look stunning in blu ray. Do watch some of them when you can.
