Its too bad the book wasn't made into a trilogy with a well-known producer/director/cast/writers. But, that would never happen in Hollywood.

if crap like Left Behind can get the proper "big" redo/remake....maybe this will do some time down the road. but they recasted the entire first movie? damn....if anything you'd think the fact none of your actors wanted to return would be a sign. lol

Kinda want to see it for Samantha Mathis. Had a huge crush on her in the 90's. Haven't seen her in anything since the Tom Jane Punisher.

Could've done without the slam of Fox News. I don't recall seeing any interviews/discussion on any other network.

I saw the first part and I liked it, but have not seen this part yet. It's in my rental queue.

Please do us all a favor in the future. Knock off the left-wing commentary. First off, I come here for BluRay reviews, not political rants. Second, about half the country according to polls would prefer to a see a movie produced by Fox News rather than MSNBC or any other left-wing organization.

If you want to pare your viewing down to about half of what is is now, keep this stuff up. I've used this site as my sole source of hi-def disc reviews for many years, but one more review like this and I'm gone.

Unhappy We're living it, so I wish someone would film it right!

Since the entire country is in the midst of living the book, it's a crying shame that it hasn't been properly made into a 5-6 hour trilogy or even a two-part presentation. The book's writing is pretty stilted and melodramatic, but there's no reason a movie has to be that way - even the book is a grabber once you get into it.

Do it right, somebody! We need it shown, now more than ever.
