God, I hope so. Dig the new artwork, although A Clockwork Orange really should have kept a white background like the original posters.

Stanley Kubrick fans, today is your day. Warner Home Video has announced '2001: A Space Odyssey (Special Edition),' 'A Clockwork Orange (Special Edition),' 'Eyes Wide Shut (Special Edition),' 'Full Metal Jacket (Deluxe Edition)' and 'The Shining (Special Edition)' will be available individually on HD DVD and Blu-ray Disc on October 23 for an SRP of $28.99.
Better yet, it appears both versions of all the films will include Dolby TrueHD 5.1 lossless audio, and the Blu-ray versions will be pressed on BD-50 discs. Thank you, Warner!

We're still waiting to receive full disc specs and high resolution cover art, and will update each disc's detail page as soon as we have them.
From the HD DVD forum.

Bravo, Warner! Thank God for a studio that gives us great films on high-def instead of juvenile fluff like Jeepers Creepers 2!

So these are yet again new remasters?

If they are being mastered in 1080p, thats a widescreen ratio anyway, unless they pad the image with borders to get that 4:3 look. Its a possibility, so prepare for disappointment here, the Kubrick estate will very much still demand his wishes for home presentation. 2001 will be the only sure bet for 16:9 (just seen the artwork for 2001, )

Also, don't forget, the US cut of The Shining is a good 30+ minutes longer than the European version, so time to import!

Extras will be interesting, as these are all 2 disc editions on the DVD side.

A Clockwork Orange should be 1.66:1 so will need to be pillarboxed
FMJ and The Shining are composed for 1.85:1 so 16:9 will be ok.
2001 should be framed at around 2:1 to reflect a 65mm production.
