Default 'Treasure Planet' - High-Def Digest Review

'Treasure Planet' has just hit Blu-ray! Read Michael S. Palmer's review to see why this is recommended!

Liking this more now than I did a few years back when I first saw it. Not sure why. I have to say, though, that I'd enjoy it just a teeny bit more if the main character didn't have a haircut that is basically a combination of the d-baggiest parts of at least 3 d-bag haircuts... If that's the future of human hairdos, I hope I am bald by then.

I have a slight glitch on mine. The soundtrack is merely someone crying?

Is it just me?

I'm not upset that they released this. Just upset they released it so quickly. Oh well, they are making it up to me by releasing Great Mouse Detective. So, I'll let you have this one.

Ordered nao! I liked the movie well enough (thought the story was "OK", the idea of wooden boats in space rather ridiculous, and the visuals very nice.

It's a cheaper blu-ray, sitting at about $25+Tax on Amazon.ca. Slightly annoying thing is it was $0.03 away from qualifying for super saver shipping XD They did that on purpose no doubt.

Glad to see the Video is top notch. I really liked this one when it came out in Theaters and I'm getting pretty much all Disney blurays anyway.

This was always one of the best DVDs ever to grace the market and I'm thrilled the Blu-ray doesn't disappoint. Can't wait for a Region B-release, but (if it doesn't show up soon) I'll just buy the American (and apparently region free) version.

Hurrah for Treasure Planet!
