Default The new King of Bass Blu-ray?

Apparently it is Underworld: Awakening. Who knew?! I get my disc this Wednesday. Have to wait until the weekend to put it through its paces, but allegedly, it is a system KILLER!

It's better for surround demoing than it is sheer power and subwoofer demoing. Plenty of discs rock a ton more beef in the sub than this disc. It's still 5 star all the way audio, and demo worthy for other things, though.

The Incredible Hulk, i'd agree with 100% as being a top tier bass workout disc.
if you want just unfocussed power, for seemingly no reason, HANNA is a bass juggernaut.

I don't know, the waterfalls are coming in for this one and its a mean bugger. People are breaking systems on this one. Could be the new Tron.

Oh brother had no interest in watching the new Underworld but will have to rent it now just for the audio alone. And man, Tron had some killer bass in it indeed, especially in the scene when he gets teleported, I swear those bass sweeps and rolls were enough to cause a mini earthquake in my house or something.

Lastly, have you seen, or in this case, heard Skyline? That one's pretty nuts too in the sound & bass dept. Gave my system a pretty good test at least.

Yeah, Skyline was pretty badass. Hanging out on the Audio Tier thread at AVS, the disc-of-the-year so far is between Ghost Protocol or Underworld!

M:I 4 was good although I think the jailbreak when the floor collapses offers cleaner bass than the Kremlin explosion.

As for U:A, it seems that unless your sub can handle anything around 28-30Hz, you're probably missing most of the low-end. Even though I can go 20Hz flat, I'm waiting on watching U:A until my new VTF-15H arrives.
