So let me get something straight, I can take in my blu-ray and for $5, they will put that movie in a cloud based system that I can access ON ANY TYPE OF DEVICE (tablet, laptop, desktop, or iPhone/iPod)by going to vudu.com and I still get to keep the disc, correct??

From what I read, if you have a blu, then it's only $2.

I may want to try this with my blu version of Tim Burton's Sweeney Todd.

Same "DEF" is $2, SD->SD or HD->HD. Sd -> HD is $5.

this is a pretty good get. I can think of a few dreamworks animation movies (now if all dreamworks moves that'd be great, Saving Private Ryan, gladiator, Evolution, Small soldiers, ) I wouldn't mind being able to pull up on my iphone or wherever. Now if only UV could straiten themselves out so I can access my account and connect it with Vudu I might actually bring a disc to walmart to test it

Technically, DreamWorks and DreamWorks Animation are separate studios. DreamWorks Animation split off from regular DreamWorks a while back. Admittedly, this is confusing, especially since titles from both are all distributed by Paramount.

Each disc that gets converted gets stamped with indelible ink so it canít be reused by someone else.

Not sure how this will effect your resale value of the disk or kill your right to resale altogether. I cant find TOS for it yet.
