Movies are so rarely great art that if we cannot appreciate great trash
we have very little reason to be interested in them.

I wouldnt give it a 1 but its definitely at a 2 for me, it did nothing you havent seen in every other movie like it, the FX werent bad and the premise of the aliens was good but the CG of the aliens after you "see" them was really poor, the characters never gelled right for me which didnt help the blandness of the rest of the movie, maybe worth a rent but I certainly wont be watching it again

So glad I just rented this on the Apple TV. I had always planned to watch it (at one point I actually looked forward to it), but as the ratings came in, I knew what the writing on the wall said

Poor Emile Hirsch. Thought this guy would of been bigger by now. So great in Dangerous Lives of Alter Boys and Lords of Dogtown. Too bad Speed Racer tanked, he might not being doing this crap now. And for the record, I thought Speed Racer was awesome.

Yikes. Even I didn't enjoy those two. Battle LA had its moments, but was mostly crap.
