WOOT! I LOVE the Tinkerbell movies! I know, hand in my man-card, but they are AWESOME! But what I am even more excited is to see that a direct-to-disc release is in 3D! Obviously, this means that Disney is seeing value in the home 3D market enough to make exclusive content for it. This is really exciting!

I'll gladly hand in my man-card with you. They really are fun. I've liked every one of them. I just wish this one hadn't been delayed for so stinking long.

i only saw a few mins of one of these but i was mightily impressed by the animation quality. its total theatrical quality they have there. it isnt the usual cheap animation we see in DTV movies. surprised they never attempted to release the first one in theaters.

Note to self: Do not listen to your daughter. She is going to look at you, with puppy dog, sad, ''please get this for me daddy so we can watch it together'' eyes. DO NOT FALL FOR IT!!! Yes....I know it's 3D and yes I do buy movies for my daughter and I to watch. But....there are exceptions. This is one, lol.

I can just see myself at my local BB, handing my $$ over to the cashier, and putting this 3D BD in the bag quickly...with my head held down, lol.

You know, if you order from Amazon, they will ship in a non-discrete padded envelope, and no one other than the minimal-wage worker in the Amazon warehouse and you need ever know what is in it. Give in to the dark side!

No one has commented on the $44.99 preorder price for the 3D version on Amazon. I love the Tinkerbell series, too, but I will NOT pay $45 for it. Let's hope that price gets much better by October.
