I'm surprised it's going to be so long between theatrical and home video. Must still be raking in the money overseas.

I will pass on this one. First one did nothing for me. Dont really see any point watching the second. Still....I will keep an eye out for the review. Maybe I will change my mind.....doubt it though.

I liked the second one. You can actually get season 2 of Sherlock now from Amazon.co.uk. Funny enough, I haven't enjoyed that one, and I liked the first season. My wife keeps wanting to watch the final episode, but I can't stand the guy who plays the TV Moriarty.

Warner Bros are just bastards. Mission Impossible 4 blew their movie Sherlock away at the box office last December, yet Mission Impossible comes out on dvd next month, the regular 3 months window between theatrical release & home video release. Tintin, another big December release, is already out. WB is putting out their December movie half a year after its theatrical release--add to that their 2 month window & you could end up watching this movie at home close to a year from when it came out.

I was generally disappointed with this in theaters - I found the story to be fairly convoluted - however I am such an ardent fan of the original I absolutely am buying this day 1 regardless.

Yeah, I'm perturbed that this is going to take 6 months to come to the Blu-ray format. Wow.

This movie was excellent. If you liked the first one, you will love this. If you hated the first one, you will hate this. While I wouldn't say this movie was better than the first, the last half hour of the movie is what truly defines this movie as outstanding.

I really liked the first, so I need to rent this, but if it gets low priced I will buy.
