digibook? Yes please!

Hey you guys are in better contact with the studios than us servant posters(LOL)-
How are the studios feeling about digibooks? Are they popular among the studios? Do they even care? Do they even know what a digibook is? LOL

I'm not sure. There must be a good market for them if they keep producing them, but who really knows for sure.

Yah that's why I asked, I am very curious about it.

I would hope the sales for them are good and they keep continuing to make them.

I love, love, love this movie. One of Spielberg's most underrated films, IMO.

Hopefully Warner gave this a proper remaster. The DVD and HDNet HD versions are minted from a pretty dirty, white-speckled, source.

Too bad about the lack of new bonus content. I always hoped that Spielberg would revisit this and give us the original, longer, version that he shot--with all of the internment camp scenes. Or at the very least, a newer retrospective docu. The China Odyssey is just a bum TV special from 87, and while the Spielberg-narrated Warner at War is fine, it too is a TV special (from 2008) and has almost nothing to do with the film.

Default Yes and YES!

I love the digi-books. I actually seek them out...although I've had to pass on the Se7en book because I have little children in the house. Probably don't want them flipping through that one. I just wish Target could find a better way to secure them. The super-tight security bindings usually dig into the edges and ruin the cover.

This is great news and tops the news for Jaws, IMO. Love this movie.

wow....i remember when just 1 or 2 yrs ago people complained at the lack of spielberg movies on blu. and now it seems they're just constantly coming. i mean along with this, we also have jaws, ET and the indy movies coming just this year alone. looks like his early catalogue will all be done soon. lol

this was on tv a while back and it was so weird seeing Bale as a kid. lol

Love this movie! I've been looking for something to replace the sad DVD version. I own both the LD, and DVD versions, and the LD version blows the audio away on the DVD version, so I can't wait for the hidef audio on Blu.

I totally agree and it's not just Target. Even some I received from Amazon have been "slightly" damaged

Fair enough, but can't you hide the Se7en digibook from your children?
