In a perfect world there'd be a replacement program--(I expect) there won't be.

Just curious if anyone can vouch for it.

The signature scares me.

So does this one have the DP's involvement and approval? Considering Friedkin's hand in the first release, a "remaster" means nothing to me if it's the same bad color timing which plagued the original BD.

Probably the first time a title would sell significantly better if it was the "DP Signature Series" with Friedkin's signature crossed out and Owen Roizman's scrawled over the top!

If you believe the back of the package, it does.

I saw this last night at Best Buy while I was picking up Ferngully and commented to my wife that this was the movie that the director fracked up so bad that nobody was buying it. I thought the cover looked different but was not sure. This is great news! Too bad Criterion couldn't get ahold of this to really do it right.
