IŽd rate the series mich higher and give it 4,5 stars. For me this is the best version of the Robin Hood mythos. It is all done with much style and the stories and characters are still great today. It is also a big plus everything was shot on location and not within some cheap studio.

Personally I love Robin of Sherwood and for me it is still the best adaption of the Robin Hood legend.

I think the review should have mentioned the number of episodes included and how long each one is - why force us to go looking elsewhere for those details? Still, this sounds like a great show and I'll have to get it sometime.

Ugh, lossy audio strikes again. With studios like Acorn which are much smaller, could someone at HDigest get in touch with them ans ask why they are choosing lossy audio?

Perhaps set up an interview ala the FUNimation one and ask about future releases and how they go about remastering their releases etc. and why no lossless?

I think they are handling Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, so not only will it be cut by about an hour it will also have shitty lossy audio.

... the old BBC 'Robin of Sherwood'
Robin of Sherwood was not a BBC show.

It was made by HTV, part of the ITV network (in associated with the ill-fated Goldcrest).

We do have more than one channel in the UK y'know.
