No comments on this one?

This is a very good film that I saw a two weeks ago in the UK. I saw it digitally presented at a cinema and the review is right to state that the film is not eye-candy. It looks like it was shout under-exposed and the colours and contrast have been muted in post-production.

I'd recommend it as an intelligent and thoughtful piece of cinema but not for anyone with a short attention span.

Elizabeth Olsen is enough eye candy for me

But yeah, I've been looking forward to seeing this for a while. I hope to get around to it in the next few weeks. Seems like my kind of thing.

This is in my Top 10 for 2011. It's a tremendous film. I like its how open-ended it is. I like that it doesn't have to explain everything. Great, great movie. It really deserved an editing nom for the Oscars.

This movie completely slipped under my radar. It sounds really interesting, I'll have to check it out. It's always weird seeing Elizabeth Olsen for me. Not fair to say that, I know, but I can't help but think of her obviously more well known sisters. Apparently she's quite the actress from what I hear, though.

I agree with your observations top to bottom. The review by Mr. Cohen is also quite fair. Because of my weakness for thoughtful and troubling indie films in this period of overwhelmingly unmitigated studio trash, I would have given it four stars rather than Mr. Cohen's 3.5.

It's a film worth having on Blu Ray.

Lemme add that even better than the story that director Sean Durkin tells is the elliptical way he tells it. Outstanding in its gentle, allusive presentation of the protagonist's shattered psyche within the unreliable narrator genre.
