This is simply a must own release. Read David Krauss' review for all the details!

It was a great movie that I first watched in Literature class in 8th grade. You know, as part of the study of the book itself. I'll definitely keep an eye out for this.

I really want this but the price is just a bit high. I really hope it drops some!

Great writeup David. Tough to describe a classic and do it justice but you captured everything well, reflecting my experience with the film. Been waiting a while for this remaster and glad to hear they did it justice. Buy!

So glad to hear Universal did this one right. This is one of my top five films of all time and one of the best films ever made. Saw it during the original theatrical release when I was a kid and have loved it since. The only reason it didn't win the Best Picture Oscar is because it had the bad luck of being nominated in the same year as Lawrence of Arabia. There is no denying its greatness.

A film like this makes other 5 star ratings here (like The English Patient) look silly.
This is one of the best films of all time.

Just ordered the digibook. I like this movie TOO much to not pass up on the digibook jumping in price.

I'm a big reader and enjoyed this book when we were forced to read it in High School. I'm also a big fan of Gregory Peck, one of the best old-Hollywood actors.

My younger sister never liked to read and To Kill A Mockingbird was the only book she read more than once and even bought her own copy to read it again. I was surprised when I found the book in her room and asked why she didn't return it when she was finished only to learn that she just had to own it.

Never read the book. Is the movie a close adaptation of the book?
