Is the set in subtitles with non English language or do they have English voice over?

So what's the movie coming out in a couple of weeks with Daniel Craig in it?

Yes, it comes with English dubbed tracks on each episode, but only in legacy Dolby Digital. The original Swedish soundtrack with English subtitles features DTS-HD MA.

Movies are so rarely great art that if we cannot appreciate great trash
we have very little reason to be interested in them.

Same movie, only with bigger production values, actors chosen because they "look like" the original Swedish actors, and a totally miscast Lisbeth Salander.

And they will be much better than the mediocre Swedish versions.

I had concerns about Rooney Mara as Lisbeth but the recent trailers have eased them considerably.

I'd be shocked if they were better than the Swedish versions. I'm hoping they'll be equally as good though!

Why do all the review sites call this the Millennium Trilogy? That's not much better than Dragon Tattoo Trilogy or Girl With... Trilogy. Yeah, there's only three but it was intended to be a series. EDIT: I've just noticed the picture with the review I guess it's what it's being marketed as.

I enjoyed this review. Echoed mostly what I felt about the discs. They're a massive improvement over the cut-down editions.

National Board of Review already included it in their list of 10 best films of 2011, also Rooney Mara received an award for "Breakthrough Performance" so i'd be suprised if it wasn't very good :)

I don't know for sure, just hoping and guessing based on what I've heard.

"mediocre" was a bit of an exaggeration. I liked the original trilogy, I just felt like it didn't reach its full potential.

and knowing that this is another David Fincher movie with an excellent Trent Reznor/Atticus Ross score gives me high hopes.
