Default 'Tanner Hall' - High-Def Digest Review

Our review of 'Tanner Hall' has just been posted. This Blu-ray features excellent video and audio, but little in the way of extras. Is the movie itself strong enough to warrant a look? Read Luke's review for all the details.

There's only one dragon tattoo girl, and that's Noomi Rapace. While I do hope Fincher's remake is good, from what I've seen so far Mara just doesn't instantly grab me like Rapace has.

Nice write-up Luke, but watching it just for Mara's performance is a complete turn-off. I personally don't care for her acting and can't imagine her improving any time soon. I genuinely hope she does good in Fincher's 'Dragon Tattoo,' but I'm already setting expectations for the worst primarily because of Mara's presence.

Hopefully, it will turn out to be a nice surprise.

we have very little reason to be interested in them.

I'm a little surprised by how many people are worried about Fincher's 'Dragon Tattoo.' I'll be 100% honest with you - I've held off on watching the original 'Dragon Tattoo' just to be able to experience Fincher's version of it for the first time. I've had the original sitting on the shelf for over a year now and haven't even opened it, but after seeing Fincher's (this week!!!) I'll throw it in and compare the two.

Even though Mara's part in 'The Social Network' was small, she was brilliant! Perhaps it's because I have nothing to compare her against (yet), but I'm excited.

Can't take reviews seriously after your crap Deep Purple review. How about owning up to some of that?

I think the fact that I wrote it slapped my name on it pretty much means that I'm "owning up to" ALL of that. Deep Purple may have been great back in the day, but that was back in the day - not now. Forgive and forget, my friend!

Personally ive seen your reviews and think you are a very capable reviewer but you completely half assed the Deep Purple one which looked bad on you. It's not even about the band the review was just terrible and a throw away.

I just finished watching the film and I really rather liked it. Good soundtrack too. I look forward to seeing more of Rooney Mara.
