Love the title of the article and thank you for reminding me to get Breakfast at Tifanny's and Hook!

Cheers!

The Nightmare on Elm Street BD set from the UK for me is a much bigger deal than Star Wars by far. Even more so with the changes. Tons of great stuff coming this fall.

Expect some Breakfast at Tiffany's action here really, really soon. it really did slip under the radar, along with West Side Story.

'Scrooged' is right up there with ‘Star Wars' if not eclipsing the franchise all together. I mean anything with Bill Murray in it = fucking fantastic.

Hey, I love the originals, but I’ve never seen the (new) prequels or whatever they are and I never will. Call me old fashioned, but no Billy Dee Williams, no Star Wars!

...Billy Dee Williams wasn't in the original Star Wars, though. not even under one of the alien costumes.

another gem of this quarter: STRAW DOGS. so very, very awesome.

Default Hey, I got an idea...

Simple and easy ways to make these films better:
  • 12 Angry Men - colorize and add CG. Like EVERYWHERE.
  • Ben Hur - just puttin' this out there, but I think someone should add Dewback lizards to the chariot race.
  • Birth of a Nation - not enough racial stereotypes. Perhaps someone could put these guys in the film somewhere.
  • Breakfast at Tiffany's - more music. Jedi Rocks style.

If I think of more, I'll be sure to let you guys know.

As one of the biggest Hook supporters (it's number 7 in my list of favourite movies), I'm all psyched to see and hear it on Blu-ray. I'm hoping for a faithful presentation of the source material (let there be grain), a solid soundtrack ("You Are The Pan" is up there with "Imperial March" and "Raiders March" as John Williams's finest work) and new special features.

I wish they would ask Luke Hickman, Aaron Peck (and me, ahem) to record an audio commentary!

In Germany it has been out for a few weeks and I was the reviewer for bluray-disc.de :-).

They did a very good job on the picture: It looks calm and yet not artificial. Colours are also strong. Sometimes the picture is a bit soft, but that seems to trace back to the source. I gave it 4 stars.

So look forward to it, really good job by Paramount!
