I wonder who buys these disks? Beethoven with no listed conductor or orchestra? It reminds me of those awful Readers Digest LPs from the 60s sloppily performed by unrehearsed, provincial European bands that charged by the hour to run through classical warhorses.

These are not orchestra recordings. They are synthesizer adaptations of Beethoven's music recorded in 24 bit and most likely 96khz sample rate for 5.1 and 7.1 channel systems. I have reviewed several of Alexander Jero orchestral transpositions to synthesizer, and I have found them to be quite good artistically and acoustically. I now own all of his releases based on my reviews.

You would be surprised on how well its done, I sure was. Its not to everyone's taste, but I thought it was quite a good transcription to the keys. Since I am a keyboard player, I found it a good listen.

that's cool.
I'm sure it's technically strong, but I just prefer my classical by orchestra for the most part.
I actually prefer original instruments if possible.
