I've known this was coming before episode 3 was released. Breaks my heart.

I believe film represents the time and place it was released. So I hate when a film is not available in the original way in which it was released. I don't care if you come out with whatever version you want. Just preserve the film it it's original format and production. You owe it to the people who worked on it and you owe the fans tha made you the mine in the first place. Be grateful...not a prick.

SHHHH. the "original versions" will be on a 15 disc release come 2014, with the same copies of the altered editions we're getting in 2011, at a 300 buck MSRP and a free Yarael Poof t-shirt.

But episode 1 is available in the original way that it was released on DVD, VHS and Laserdisc. It's not like this is going to be the only version available.
