Sadly, even a spiffy box set won't turn Cars 2 into a great movie.

I don't know anyone who would double dip for that set sadly...

Wouldn't it be sad if you did?

Maybe the Director's Edition replaces all characters from Cars with ones from Toy Story.

Ok, Cars isn't that bad, but let's put this in perspective: Cars lost Best Animated Feature at the Oscars to Happy Feet. That's right. Happy Feet.

This movie was so much better tahn the first Cars, which is by far Pixar's worst movies. It isn't terrible, but it isn't amazing either. This movie was good because it had a James Bond feel to it. Plus, Bruce Campbell's cameo is priceless.

ANyway, why are the Toy Story movies getting rereleased when we don't have Finding Nemo yet? What the hell are they waiting for?

Cars 2 was so much better than the reviews make it out to be, and Cars gets better each time I watch it. I want to get the Director's Edition because I want Cars 2 on 3D, the Mater collection (which I don't own), a digital copy of the first Cars (I use digital copies all the time), and that John Lassetire would nice to own, being a huge John LAsseter fan. The only thing I don't like is the box. I hate box sets like that because they take up too much space on my shelves. If Amazon has it for cheap enough, I'll get that.
