Default 'Mars Needs Moms' - High-Def Digest Review

Our review of 'Mars Needs Moms' has just been posted. This film isn't horrible, but it sure ain't great. This Blu-ray features very strong video and audio. Extras are also fairly good. Unfortunately, the film only cries out for a rental, if that.

While the movie was mostly panned by critics and shunned at the box office we somewhat surprisingly enjoyed it. Had low expectations but the bluray has a great detailed picture (bit dark in places) and nice soundtrack. The strong underlying themes of family and parenting save the film. A few nice humorous moments by Gribble and at the expense of NASA too. Recommended at least for a rental and I'll purchase it if I can get a good deal.
