Default Con Air, The Rock, Air Force One Import Info.

I just received these titles from sendit.com (got them in a little over a week)and happy to report that all three play on my US PS3; all three titles state regions A,B,C. Not so happy to say that I paid $120. By mistake, I converted euros to dollars instead of pounds to dollars and paid quite a bit more than I expected. In terms of PQ, Con Air looks by far the best of the three. They are all MPEG4 AVC, 50GB discs as well.

$120 dollars = 60 which is about right for bluray discs in the uk. In the high street they are $60 each

Congrats on the movies. Enjoy. Is there any reason why these films haven't been released domestically yet??

I don't know why. I purchased Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire as an import many months ago, and it still hasn't come to the US. I will say that if I did my math correctly I wouldn't have purchased these titles, but oh well.

Just got the BR discs of The Rock and Crimson Tide, my first impressions are:
The Rock:
One of the worst menu screens ever, makes you think you are watching an early DVD release.
The commentary that was mentioned on the cover has not been found on any menu (this could be a VERY well hidden easter egg).
Some out door scenes seem grainy ( I mention some, others are excellent).
The sound kicks ASS!, the jets and the explosion at the end are stunning.
All the other extras are there, if you haven't watched the out-takes you missed out on some gems. You have to hear what Connery calls a lift. priceless!
I will watch it one night when it is darker and I can see the PQ better.
Crimson Tide:
Menu screen was slightly better.
The sound on the uncompressed setting was solid but as we all now this film (and Hunt For The Red October) have to be seen in darkness, but the PQ seemed pretty good.
Tried taking a picture of the covers but they look out of focus.
