Default 'The Outlaw Josey Wales' - High-Def Digest Review

Our review of Clint Eastwood's 'The Outlaw Josey Wales' has just been posted. He says the roots of 'Unforgiven' can be traced to this thoughtful western. This Blu-ray features very strong video and audio, supplements are slim but potent. This is recommended.

One of my favorite movies from my favorite genre. I'll be watching it tonight, out for delivery from Borders/FedEx.

Just finished watching this. The picture is a little soft and dark, but it seemed to really fit the tone of the movie. Absolutely loved it. It was fun to realise that Unforgiven makes reference and maybe even pokes fun at Outlaw in many ways such as the guns used, what order to shoot down a group of men, etc.

Holy shit!

I just popped this in and watched the first 10 mins, WOW it looks great! It's partially because I just finished watching The Good, The Bad & The Ugly, but I think it looks even better than this review gives it credit for right out the gate.

Awesome presentation, really makes me lament the TGTBTU fiasco that much more. I know this is 10 years newer and filmed under different conditions, but man if the "Dollars" movies could look like this... wow.

I'm on a western kick lately, I also picked up Once Upon A Time In The West, can't wait to watch that as well.
