Default 'Ip Man 2: Collector's Edition' - High-Def Digest Review

Our review of 'Ip Man 2: Collector's Edition' has just been posted. Nate says this is a timeless action flick. That pretty much says all you need to hear, right? But there's more! This Blu-ray also features 4 star video and audio. Still want more? How about some extras? There's a good helping of them as well. This is recommended.

This is a really good good movie, I honestly dont think these movies should be sold separately, even if the first one is a more fledge and complete movie, this is to me what Quantum of Solace is for Casino Royale, that being the third act for a whole movie, where the third by itself if just Ok, but as a whole this third act is a very well FULL BLOWN ACTION LAST ACT!!!

It was entertaining, but nowhere near as a good a film as the original was, too silly and over the top. Also, it shouldn't be that hard for a dedicated martial artist to take down a professional boxer.

Speaking of which, where do they get these white people to play British and Americans in Chinese films? No one in the world talks like that lol.

This was good but the first one was way better. To much Wire fu IMO.

This movie was good, but like everyone else, not as good as the first. As I was watching this film, it didn't feel like I was watching Ip Man 2. Yes it has the same characters and the same ideas as the first, but unlike the first, the fighting felt too crouching tiger.

I don't remember the 1st one having much wire kung fu. The fighting was grounded and fast and it felt fairly realistic. In this one the fighting is a little over the top and floaty. Either way, its still an enjoyable martial arts film. It just should of been named something else.
