Default Pixar on Blu-ray?

Will Disney release some Pixar short movies on Blu-ray together with the DVD this christmas?

well they have been teasing Cars on Blu-ray for a while now and they were suppose to release cars in June or July but I believe pushed it back till OCt?

I believe he is referring to the shorts themselves on BD

Its strange since Pixar in the past said they had no interest in Blu-ray. But I guess since Disney owns the property it doesn't matter what Pixar thinks.

i hope so. i'm watching incredibles right now, and it already looks incredible in SD DVD... can't wait for it in high def.

Monsters Inc. was on ABC in HD the other night. I was completely blown away by the picture quality. I only get HD over the air so the only movies I really get to see are on Blu Ray...But you know what...Monsters Inc. looked just as good if not better than most of the stuff I've seen on Blu ray. That's 1080i over 1080p! I'm telling you I couldn't believe it.

So needless to say, I can't wait to get my hands on anything by Pixar on Blu ray.
