Default 'Alice in Wonderland - 3D' - High-Def Digest Review

Our review of 'Alice in Wonderland - 3D' has just been posted. This movie is great in the third dimension! This Blu-ray feature excellent video, flawless audio, but the same thin assortment of extras as the previous Blu-ray. All in all, this is highly recommended.

Can you provide any additional details about the rebate offer? Is there an expiration date? Is there a Disney website where I may find more info?

I will buy this disc but I need to know if I need buy it now or if I can wait until I get my 3D HDTV.

I really wanted to like this movie, but I just couldn't. I hated Johnny Depp's Mad Hatter character (especially the dance), and the rest of it kind of fell flat for me. Even the ending's big battle seemed a bit....small.

I like most of Burton's work, with Big Fish, Beetlejuice, and Edward Scissorhands being my favorites (and yes, I loved Charlie and the Chocolate Factory)....but I'm afraid this movie is closer to Planet of the Apes in quality

Didn't like this movie on any level, Tim Burton should stop doing remakes n rehashes. He is best doing his own original work.

Four stars? This is one of the worst films I have seen this year.

I haven't seen this movie, but question: were the CGI elements of this film rendered in 3d or also converted to 3d like the live action? Was the editing done in a 3d space or edited in a traditional 2d space and converted later? I understand that the end result was always going to be 3d and that measures were made during filming and during the conversion to make sure it looked better than usual conversion methods, but I'd still like to know how the actual editing process was like.

Mentok-

the coupon expires 9/1/11. it is valid for current owners (of the proof of purchase tab or UPC) of the DVD, BD, or combo BD sets. you have to buy the 3d release from a legitimate retailer, with a valid receipt, between 12/7/10 and 9/1/11. must be postmarked by 9/30/11. address in MI for mailing, 6-8 weeks. limit one per household.

This was the first 3D blu movie I watched since buying my 3D set. I must say I was very impressed with what I saw...and then I put Avatar 3D in my player. WWWOOOOOWWW! Great review for Alice and I am in total agreement with it.

Wasn't planning on upgrading, but after this review, I am going to. Plus didn't know about the rebate for previous owners. Now for it to hit the $30 mark.
