Default 'Mutiny on the Bounty (1935)' - HIgh-Def Digest Review

David Krauss has reviewed 'Mutiny on the Bounty (1935).' This salty sea classic hasn't lost it's bite! This Blu-ray features excellent video, solid if aged audio, and a few good extras. Highly recommended.

Saw this over the weekend, The movie totaly sucked me in. It was the first time a watched it and I was pleasantly entertained.. Good acting all around and Captain Bligh was perfect!! Great performance.. Very good story. This flick difinitely needs more talk here. PQ and AQ were pretty good on blu. It had a strong LFE channel. I cant wait to watch it again.. Great discovery on blu..

Great review, really looking forward to it. I've had it in my Amazon cart for some time, but $28 is just too pricey, altho can be had for $24 from third party sellers. Just snagged a copy last evening on eBay for $18 shipped.

dang why have I waited so long to watch this?
This always happens for some reason--I get a great bd the day it comes out and then just forget about it as I watch all these other films.
in fact, this reminds me--I gotta watch "A Star is Born" also.
I've been obsessed with all my film noir dvds lately, and forgot about watching that one too.

I've always been a fan of this story and really liked the '84 version with Mel Gibson & Anthony Hopkins. So, it's definitely time to check out this restored classic. Cant decide whether to search out a good deal or rent first... Sea Epics are one of my favorite movie genres so I may just have to jump.

Thanks for the great review David!
