Default Eco-packs and digital copies.

So we all have seen those awful eco-packs with sections cut out to save the earth by using less plastic. So I was looking at some of my blu-rays with digital copies and mentioned to my wife how after you transfer the movie that the disc is worthless but need to put it back in the case so it doesn't have an empty spot in it. My wife commented if they were to have the digital copy downloadable they could cut the plastic from the useless disc and have full cases. Heck even if they put the digital copy on playable dvd it would help. Any thoughts on that?

I love the digital copy/DVD combos (like coraline and clash of the titans '09). I agree.
