Default 'Going the Distance' - High-Def Digest Review

Aaron Peck has reviewed 'Going the Distance.' He says the movie is really damaged by the R rated humor and the cut and paste plot points. This Blu-ray has some very trouble video and weak audio. Unless you're already a fan, you can go ahead skip this one. Go watch 'Flipped' instead!

It's spelled fare, not 'fair.' As in, 'the movie didn't fare well.'

Saw this and theaters and thought it was pretty good. Some scenes i found myself laughing out loud. Barrymores acting on this was surprising, it wasn't the cutesy role i was expecting and found her character pretty down to earth. I give it at least a rent.

Couldn't disagree more with this review. Saw it in theaters and just watched it Saturday night with my family. We all enjoyed it. Very, very funny and surprisingly realistic. You can tell just how much of it was improvised, which I can definitely appreciate.

My first post in over two years, and I must say I enjoyed the film a lot. Funny movie, and it also had a good feel to it. Not to mention The Boxer Rebellion makes a cameo on the movie too.

my wife and i met 10 years ago on yahoo chat of all places, she was in ohio and i was in ontario canada and we loved this movie since some of the awkward moments from a long distance relationship rang true and were very funny to see. Now i guess my opinion is biased to the subject matter but we liked it.
