Default 'Los Angeles Lakers - 2010 NBA Finals Series: Collector's Edition' - HDD Review

Aaron has reviewed 'Los Angeles Lakers - 2010 NBA Finals Series: Collector's Edition.' While the games on this Blu-ray look nice, he doesn't see the point. If you want to rewatch the same games on a loop forever, then you might like this, otherwise, it's easily skipped.

I think this is a brilliant release for those who are interested in the finals. It's exactly what I'd like to buy; all the games, complete without commercial breaks. The fact that the reviewer doesn't like the Lakers should be completely beside the point, it shouldn't affect the review in general.

I only wish all the Bulls finals were available in HD *sigh*

As for the content, there's really nothing to review. If you're a big Laker fan such as myself, you're going to enjoy this. What I find funny is that a Laker hater reviewed this. The take is very amusing (although I am at a loss as to why he was confused). It must have been painful, LOL. The Jazz have been whipping boys for the Lakers since Showtime.

As for the PQ, it looks great. Far better than the Comsuck PQ I watched it on.

+1. I always prefer to relive the games as they were shown in their entirety. It's a great treat for Laker fans.

better to have entire games than clippings, which is what we get with the World Series releases.

not everyone enjoys the idea of a Laker hater reviewing a Laker release, but to be fair, i doubt any of our NBA knowledgeable reviewers enjoy the Lakers. i personally HATE 'em, this coming from a guy who has no favorite team.

For the record I'm glad there are people out there that will enjoy sticking in these games and reliving them. I'm just not one of them and I'm a HUGE fan of the NBA. I watch nearly 10 - 15 games a week. I'm crazy about basketball, but I still couldn't see myself settling down to watch past games in their entirety (especially after seeing the HUUUUGE price tag for this set). Just so all you Lakers fans know, my detest for the Lakers didn't have any basis on the score I gave to this set.

I wish they would do this for the World Series of 1981 between the Dodgers and Yankees..... they had us down 2 games to ZERO and... LOST!! Those were the days...
