Have it on HD DVD, but would consider if they do a new master of it.

Maybe WB will pull a Caddyshack on this title, but I am not expecting it getting a better transfer then the HD-DVD version.

I've already got the HD-DVD too, and unless they do a new transfer, will pass.

So the Caddyshack Blu-Ray was a new (and superior) transfer to the HD-DVD? I didn't know that.

From what little I have seen, yes. The BD might be more of a different transfer then a new one.

One of my 10 all time favorite movies.
The DVD I have has lousy sound so the blu ray should be a big improvement!

One of my favorites as well, had the laser, DVD, and now the HD-DVD. But if there's no major improvement in PQ I'll probably pass on it. Great cast.

Over time, I have come to appreciate John Boorman's films more and more.
Excalibur was exceptional from the very first time that I watched it.
Pray that Warner (wisely) remasters this without applying DNR to it. I never
picked up the , just because the reviews never made it out to be worth the effort.
