This movie was terrible. Granted, it was better than the third one, but my god did this movie suck. Not to mention there is simply no reason for the Majini to even exist here. Oh yeah, and they turned Wesker into a coward. The only thing good about the movie was the music, as it had the best soundtrack since the first movie. However, other than that and the pretty 3D, it was horrible.

Have to agree, movie wasn't that great but was entertaining enough for me to buy it for my 3d TV.

I'm a fan of the franchise in general, but LOVED the fucking score to Afterlife. Tomandandy were somewhat the catalyst for me getting into computer music.

This was the WORST movie I saw in theaters this year -- and will be the WORST Blu Ray I buy also

Nah, you haven't seen a bad movie for the year until you have watched Jonah Hex.

yeah, it may be tough for this one to one up (as it were) Jonah Hex. after all, we do get to stare at milla jovovich for an hour and a half, instead of the one two punch of a melted face and josh brolin. ouch, a megan fox burn.

Forget Avatar... THIS is the reason to own an 3D HDTV! (Yes, I am dead serious.)

Knowing this movie will be available will be a severe temptation to upgrade my TV (yet again).

You haven't seen awesome, useful 3D until you've seen Milla Jovovich and Ali Larter bouncing around in slow-mo in a broken-shower scene facing the bizarre Axe-man from the RE:5 videogame. (Yes, again I am dead serious.)

Frankly, I don't understand the hate for this movie; especially from those who have apparently bothered to see all of the other films. Another slightly-twisty, max-action, babe-centric, awesome movie with yet another meaningful cliffhanger ending. --What's not to love?

And in 3D.

This movie had less plot than any one of the previous 3. It was okay, but definitely my least favorite of the series, and all the people who say it has the most "stuff from the games" must not have seen any of the previous ones. Extinction is still my favorite. I loved the references to the original movie, and the tyrant, and the super zombies... It was just cool.

Anyway, I will be getting this one, but the 3D was ridiculously distracting, and they really threw away what the second and third movies had set up. Maybe that's good, maybe not. Either way, I'll keep watching the series because they are entertaining enough.

Any word on a steelbook? I bought the wal-mart steelbooks of the first three... My OCD tells me that I should at least make a solid attempt at getting this one that way.
