Wow, this was never released on SD at all.

I want to see what the fuss is about. If they put out films like this then maybe they'll releases Heaven's Gate at some point, too.

I'd say this pretty much guarantees that anything is possible.

Gee, yeah. If they're releasing Ishtar maybe we'll some really obscure old movies, like Lawrence of Arabia.

What's the point? We got Ishtar! Who needs that second rate Lean film anyway? I rather have 6 hours of Hoffman and Beatty, than 4 of Mr. O'Toole.

Cheez my man...there is a reason why they never put this movie out on sd before. I was one of the unfortunate few who actually payed a movie ticket to see this flick. My right eye still twitches from the mere thought of this ''film''. See it if you are curious (if you really are curious..and brave). Just keep your thumb on the power button if you find yourself having episodes of wanting to tear your eyes out of your sockets, lol.

This is just my opinion and it means nothing to those who ''enjoyed'' this flick....but I am still trying to regain the feelings of the the left side of my face, lol.

The movie has a very small group of defenders, but I'm not one of them. This is a notorious bomb that really lived down to its reputation for me.

What goes on here??? They can find the bucks to put this piece of crap out on Blu-ray but we can't get Lawrence of Arabia, Chinatown, or any number of other great films on the format? Amazing!

Lawrence of Arabia applies but you can't compare this to Chinatown. Sony has the rights to Ishtar and LoA and Paramount has the rights to Chinatown.
