Default 'Get Him to the Greek' - High-Def Digest Review

Our review of 'Get Him to the Greek' has just been posted. Aaron says this film is hilarious. This Blu-ray features very, very nice video and audio. There are more extras here than Aldous Snow roll, smoke, or snort, even on a good day. Highly recommended.

Okay movie, I dont like how it turns into a drama with a moral message in the last quarter. But I guess alot of comedies these days do that.

I haven't seen it yet but that doesn't surprise me. While I will certainly be watching this one I like my comedies like Grandma's Boy which is IMO one of the funniest damn comedies EVER. Nothing to series and funny from start to finish, none of that sentimental drama crap.

I really did not like the last 10-15 minutes or so, but the rest of the movie was surprisingly enjoyable. A 3.5/5 for me.

Had zero interest in this based on the trailers, but I put it up on the Netflix que after this review. Thanks Aaron.

Jonah Hill and Russell Brand wise, it's got moments but honestly I wouldn't have cared for the film had P. Diddy not been in it because he had the most memorable moments. As for the film as in a whole, it's good, it's got laughs but one of the funniest films? Hardly and I had a lot of problems with the story because a lot of stuff felt out of character and I hated the last 15 minutes of the film, it tries to get deep which is ridiculous and the script was pretty terrible because a lot of things didn't make sense and felt out of place. Watch it before you buy it.

I just ordered this movie because I wanted to order something and there wasn't a lot of interesting stuff coming out this week. But now I am really glad. Awesome review btw.

Saw in the theaters as this was being billed as the funniest movie since the Hangover. I was disappointed because it's nowhere near that funny... and it has that crap ending. Also if you don't like stoner comedies then you should AVOID. I didn't realize it at the time, but this is SERIOUS STONER comedy... it actually gets a bit depressing.

It's alright. The dramatic bits feel more like last ditch attempts at heart than anything connecting the film, as the first 3/4's is just Hangover style hijinks without much really holding it together. In other words, a bunch of comedy sketches. During those periods, it works, but it's nothing memorable. You have fun watching it and then you forget. Then, another 20 minutes is slapped on, and it overstays it's welcome.

The acting is fine, but compared to FSM, it's lacking on an emotional level. Probably because Segel wasn't the main writer this time around.
