i was surprised how much i enjoyed this one, the dvd is enough for me though. i have no interest in 3D and i dont LOVE it so no need to upgrade to blu.

but this is a movie that i feel shows how motion capture should be used. not to try and make photo realistic (and copies) of the actors portraying the character, but just adding realistic movement to an animated character.

Well, I wish that more 3D blurays would be released, but I might have to pre-order this one... Its gonna be hard to get 3D blu-ray off the ground with only animated films being released...

man this movie story and video was pretty mediocre. I'm sad that this is one of the early 3d movies to get things started. at least Cloudy with a Chance a Meatballs was a relatively big budget movie.

Ummm Monster House was a big Budget movie as well, not sure where you got the idea that it wasnt.

I'm a big fan of this film. The reviews at the time of it's release often compared it to the 80's films we got as children. I totally agree with that. It's very similar to The Goonies, Monster Squad and the like. It was a great flick. Certainly better than Crappy Feet.
