Fox at least wants to release an older live action children's classic;

a discussion at "another" site.
people were suggesting that Lowry worked on this title.
looking back over some threads, I see now that I misread a few points.
Since there is no confirmation, I guess I'll amend that for the moment.

Interesting. This is a MGM Ian Fleming (eon?) movie. Any chance for the rest of the Bond movies?

One of the latest DVD releases was a special edition (2004?) had a collectors book and a bunch of extras, if I remember right it boasted a new "high def" transfer. Which back then didn't mean a hell of lot. I don't think they ever boasted a Lowry restoration although since they did the North by Northwest, Gone With the Wind, Casablanca, the Indiana Jones movies, Star Wars movies and other Bond movies they would make sense to have restored Bang Bang too.

All:
A gentleman's got a walking stick.
A seaman's got a gaff.
And the merry men of Robin Hood
They used a quarterstaff.

On the Spanish plains inside their canes
They hide their ruddy swords.
But we make do with an old bam-boo
And everyone applauds!

1 - 2 - 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 - Hey!

Me ol' bam-boo, me ol' bam-boo
You'd better never bother with me ol' bam-boo.
You can have me hat or me bum-ber-shoo
But you'd better never bother with me ol' bam-boo.

At the risk of starting a angry argument, perhaps you are saying Lowry Digital did the DVD versions of North by Northwest and Gone With the Wind and not the BDs.

While the early Bond BDs got a full restoration by LD, I believe LD did a lot of 'digital restoration' (which is a fancy word for remastering) on DVDs. Unless someone can point me to sources saying otherwise.

I don't know what they did and didn't do, I remember their name from about the same time Bang Bang was redone which was DVD. I don't know if they did Bang Bang or not but it would make senses if they did.

*EDIT* Here is a list
Films that Lowry Digital has worked on
