As much as I enjoy the flick, I won't double dip against my HD-DVD, would consider a red2blue, however, but I seriously doubt it will happen

Every time I see where Warner will be releasing another older title I cringe, given their track record for some of their other work released in blu that has left something to be desired... Wonder how this one will look?

These are the kinds of blu-ray releases that drive me crazy, DVD movies I could pick up for 3.99 in the bargain bin being marked up to 24-29.99 and put in the same price league as a 300 or The Dark Knight. Caddyshack is a classic but come on, way overpriced considering the supplements and what you expect to get in terms of picture and audio quality.

Caddyshack is the type of movie that will be around $8-10 in no time.

From the few screenshots of the HD-DVD version I have seen, the Caddyshack transfer looks little better then DVD quailty.

Isn't Red2Blu done now?

I had been hoping to get this via Red2Blu but it took so long to be released that didn't seem like it would be possible (and I thought that Red2Blu had ended at the end of last year??)

I do want this on Blu-ray but don't want to overpay for it. More than this one, I want The Blues Brothers. Stripes would be nice too.

Ah, updating myself... Red2Blu will supposedly end on June 30, 2010, so it would seem this *might* be possible to upgrade via that program. If so, I'll probably jump on a copy there. Yay!
