Nope. I never see the shows until I buy the Blu-ray. Have never had cable TV.

ahhh, ok.

i won't spoil anything for you, and I did try to make the review as non-spoilery as possible, but let's just say this is definitely a good season, even if it is a bit unbelievable on many occasions. a real step up from that horrible mexican season. if you're a fan, you should be quite happy with it.

I really enjoyed this season. Richard Dryfus was hilarious and extremely creepy at the same time.

project-blu 02-21-2011 12:51 AM

yeah, Richard Dreyfus had an interesting character. a tad too random and convenient, though, for my tastes, and i'll leave it at that.

Hmmm, I gave up on the show after season 4 ended. Barely made it through season 5. Maybe I might have to check it this season.

Yeah I've consistently dug the show throughout all the seasons, but I do find myself longing from time to time for it to take place back in the suburban town like the first 3 seasons. At least they dumped some of the characters in this last season that had gone a season or two past their relevance. All and all its still a very good show, but they should really consider wrapping it up with the next season.

project-blu 02-21-2011 04:06 AM

yeah, they really should put 'er down. just like Dexter will find out in a few years (sooner if the whole divorce thing requires a death of the sister/ex-wife (CREEEPY)), Weeds is on a limited life before it just has nothing to do that hasn't been done.
