'Van Wilder' -- pre-release buzz
 

Lionsgate has announced 'National Lampoon's Van Wilder' for Blu-ray release on August 21:

Looks to be a stocked release, and even boasts a PCM 7.1 surround track -- though not sure if 'Van Wilder' is really the kind of film that would benefit much. But will still be looking forward to this one...

Okay movie, I might pick it up. I wonder when Lionsgate will release Rambo 2 & 3 on BD, hopefully they'll come with PCM 7.1.

What's with only the Ryan Reynolds comedies getting 7.1 Uncompressed PCM tracks from Lionsgate? p_-

This movie was horrible in my opinion. It was just dumb, I wasn't ready for all the nudity when I was 13. :)

This movie was absolute trash...even if it was on HD I still would not buy it.

I already own it on DVd and can't think of a reason it'd be worth an hd upgrade

In the news announcement for this site you say it's an "all new" unrated edition, not true, this has been on DVD for years, unrated and normal.

And much like "waiting..." the 7.1 sound is pointless, this movie is out of the center channel 90% of the time.

Nothing special about the unrated version except for the nudity on menus...
