I would say this list is approximately quality as the other list. The Deer Hunter is a classic flick but then so again is Uncle Buck. The Interpreter is far from a classic IMHO.

Hitchcock IS classic but I can't see that being released anytime outside of a major buying season and some kind of special edition.

The coarse film grain reminds me of An American Werewolf in London. For the same reasons I guess, look at the bulidings against the sky in image 18. Old Universal just cannot lay off the EE.

Universal will probably spend the cash to perk up JP... it made to much money for them and it is a franchise name they know means $$$$, much like BTTF.

Universal did not spend the money for 4K scans of the originals for BTTF. Instead it was 2K of the interpostives with a slapping on of filters to 'fix' it which does not bode well for JP.
