This is a damned good sign. Here's hoping that Universal does the right thing and remasters a few of their other questionable titles - along with throwing DTS-HD MA audio. I will re-buy several of my HD DVD titles if they do.

I'm not a fan of the HD DVD version...it looks muddy. So, I might actually upgrade it...but after Mummy 2 comes out and jazz. I want a "deal".

I loved the Mummy flix (minus The Scorpion King) and am eagerly awaiting both the new movie, and the Blu release of the old ones.

Nice to see Universal is re-encodeing the movie for higher bitrates hopefully and nice to se they are going with DTS-HD MA, but please give us something better than The Mummy.

I hope so too, especially for the Bourne trilogy, I hope they include the DTS-MA track on all of them.
