I don't agree with those PQ ratings. I own the boxset (imported from AU) and the Spider-man transfer was soft and inconsistent. I thought some scenes were outstanding (like the goblin fight in the burning building) but overall the best I could call it is "good".

SP2 was consistent throughout and had a very film like quality too it, more than I expected. Out of all the HD movies I seen the first one I thought of was Unforgiven, which I didn't expect from Spider-man 2.

The third had the most pop by far and that's to be expected. I just don't care for the movie all that much, goes downhill after the black suit spidey/sandman fight (love everything up until the end of that fight).

It is a great boxset and I picked it up 74 dollars shipped and it is all region if people are interested in importing. The box art and spines are ruined though by AU's fugly rating though if you care about that stuff.

Box Set ratings
Oshan, I believe those ratings are for the transfer.

There are some soft scenes in the movies, and even some stock footage inserted here and there, but that is in the source material.

I think the ratings refer to how close to the source material the transfer is.

ie it's a faithful transfer.
