Cheez: you really should see it. You'll get past and over the received-knowledge parody stuff pretty quickly. It's a great film.
Yeah, I'll probably buy it at some point. I'm not really feeling the 23.99 price tag at the moment.

gerard, keep an eye in the trading area. as a catalog title, it should range from 17-18 this week and next, and go down a few bucks after that. also keep an eye out on amazon third party.

it's worth owning. it comes with both my and enois's strong recommendations. we can't BOTH be wrong, can we?

saw it years ago too, wouldnt mind checking it out again though. great characters.

I watched the director's cut DVD for the first time (never seen any version of the film before) a couple of days ago and it is a true masterpiece. If they do a Blu-ray with both cuts, I'll buy it on day one.

Breakout performance? He broke out so he could do that turd of a movie, Mr. Woodcock! So much potential wasted. He was great in A Simple Plan and Bad Santa though.

Seeing as this theatrical cut has a directors commentary, and the directors cut has a directors commentary, my question is.... are there 2 different directors commentaries for this film?
