Does anyone know if Best Buy has an exclusive deal to release Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz on 8/25? Their website shows 8/25 as the release date. I know they had a deal to release Children of the Corn back in June.

it's either a typo or such an agreement. they've had early releases for Hancock and Children of the Corn (Sony, Rancor Bay), so it'd be their first w/ a Universal title. we'll see as it gets closer to date!

I've got both films on HD-DVD, and Hot Fuzz is still a reference disc on HD-DVD.

I doubt the BD will go to 11.


Unless it includes the Quentin Tarantino commentary from the Ultimate SD edition. If it does, I may trade up just for that. Maybe.
