It would be quite correct to equate continuous GIANT, colored, underlined fonts
as shouting.

I'm just fearful that:

"So far all the _____ have been greatly upset with _____."

- zealous people who detest blasphemy
- Noah and stormed out of the theater

(At least the "smart ones" that weren't bribed with a "free Noah poster".)

That might cause a stampede, and many moviegoers might be trampled to
death. Yes, we need to fight blasphemy at every turn, but we need to
balance that with theater evacuation safety protocols.

I care about the kids. Trampled, mangled, flattened kids. Let's refrain
from shouting blasphemy. Think of the kids.

Strong opinions about a movie are acceptable, and since it is a story of religious nature, it is impossible to omit religion from one's opinion when discussing this movie.

Having not seen the movie, I cannot comment to specifics. As a studio executive though, how would you justify spending millions of dollars making a movie and leaving it completely accurate (according to biblical tales) but yet attract as large an audience as possible?? I do not think that is possible at all to do so they have to change some things to pull in the numbers. Someone watching it just for entertainment value will at least get the gist of the story, albeit not entirely accurate (or so the religions people say.)

Once/if this thread turns into bashing/baiting/flaming etc the moderation team will take appropriate measures.

Have you seen HDTV's other posts?
THEY ALL contain that type of editting, he is not shouting that's how he comments, hence Josh's comment

It's all good until there is insults or other unwanted behavior in here, as Krawk mentions above me.

I guess that's a good defense to use: Officer, I wasn't shouting fire/blasphemy.
I always talk this loud.

-----

And, it ISN'T an insult (as long as one is also self-deprecating) when arguing
that you're not smart if you didn't walk out on Noah?

-----

I think it is important to call out extremist opinions as they are. If you're
gonna cite someone who believes dinosaurs were on Noah's ark, you gotta
expect to be called out on that. (Let me Google that again for you?)

I have extremist beliefs too, like I'm a world-class dancer. And if you see me
dancing in public, I should expect to be called out on my claim.

Would I be crossing the line IF (just hypothetically) I suggested that this film
should also be boycotted?

I'm not suggesting it; I don't want to insult Steve Carell fans.

Is there going to be a 3D release? I remember seeing a trailer in 3D and it looked really bad, like Clash of the Titans bad.

Whaaaaat the hell is wrong with these studios? I mean, I GET that the 3D in this movie is supposed to be pretty awful, but they should still at least OFFER it if they're going to release it in other regions.
