Criterion's only other Mamet film is Homicide and I can't really see which of his other directorial outings they'd be so eager to release as to put out a film they didn't believe in. Chances are Criterion wanted to release House of Games on its own merits. It certainly warrants the attention.
Homicide is awesome. Which Alfonso Cuaron film has been released by Criterion in the past?
