'Kill Bill Vol. 2' - High-Def Digest Review

Josh's review of 'Vol 2' is up. As with the first, his only disappointment is the lackluster supplements. This one is also highly recommended.

Another excellent review Josh. This is why I keep coming to this site for reviews first and foremost. You write a damn good review Josh. Keep it up and make me forget about the Belly snafu. ;)

Thank you for the great review and thank you for poinintout that the grain through out the Pai mei training is a homage to 70's Kung Fu Flicks. Now people shouldnt complain about the transfer being bad:rolleyes:

I'm ordering my copy(ies) as soon as I get home. I was pretty sure the reviews would be good but just had to be sure before ponying up the dough.

Thanks again for the back to back reviews!
I am waiting to get this one a little cheaper around 15 bucks!

Great review! Both of them actually. Good to see some Tarantino love.

Those are the same people that will complain how bad the transfer of Planet Terror and Death Proof will be because of the grain; its obviously intentional.

Will have to check Vol. 2 out before Vol. 1 due to the long wait for 1 on Netflix.

Josh, great 2pk review of Kill Bill Vol 1 & 2! I will say that these movies do 'play well' together, not just standalone (although I know exactly what you were getting at when you said "...Each volume of 'Kill Bill' plays stronger individually than if they had been combined"). This was my first time watching these since seeing them in the theater, and first time back-to-back.

What an amazing set of BD's, and what an amazing story! I really do like how (as you say) Vol 2 is "the real meat of the story". As much as I enjoyed Vol 1's over-the-top 'limb-separations':D, there is something so very rewarding about the depth of passion & emotion in Vol 2.

I'd say you're pretty spot-on with the AV quality, too. So, all around great read!
