Of course, you haven't experienced Blu-ray without HD audio.

Yes for me. Bitstream to HD receiver. Only option in my book. I just wish they had more 7.1 tracks

I have an option for both, but 95% of the time I'm bitstreaming audiophile mode from my BD-UP5000 letting my receiver decode even though the PS3 is hooked up to the same unit.

Nope. I only have a 5.1 setup right now. I wouldn't mind at least upgrading my receiver at some point, but it's not really an option right now. Plus, 7.1 would be major overkill for a bedroom. ;) Even so, I do notice a sizeable difference in sound over a DVD.

I love 7.1, I don't see how it would be overkill. It still can be used in very cool ways, Saw V and The Spirit are fantastic tracks.

I'm sure eventually you'll outgrow that bedroom and your HT will be in another room :)

What does only having 5.1 sound have to do with Dolby TrueHD and DTS-MA?? There are HUNDREDS of Dolby TrueHD and DTS-MA Blu-rays out there and only a handful are 7.1. The number of channels has nothing to do with it being lossless or not.

If the disc has it, I ALWAYS watch the lossless audio option.
