Love the movie and I am curious about the board game that comes with the giant pack. But just so you know Anne Ramsey didn't win the oscar that year. She was nominated but Olympia Dukakis took the prize home

I won't be spending 15 or 20 so extra bucks just for a bunch of cardboard. All this time waiting for a release here and we get crap, no actual additional features. A tiny copy of the Empire magazine--yeah thats enough, don't put any video of the cast that was shot of the actual reunion itself--pure genius. A single disc release can't come fast enough. I'll have to see if I can wait longer or just finally go for the import. I just should've went for it months ago I guess.

As with others, I want to own this, but I could give a crap about the board game and other extras. Disc only release for $15 and I'm in.

No brainer purchase for me...and I was able to sell the extras to someone who saw value in them. Extras can easily be sold on ebay for around $20.

7 minute making of?

when the dvd first was released, the way people talked i thought there was a good 30min/hourlong documentary. didnt think it was just a cheap featurette from the 80s. how can you call it an anniversary edition when there's 30mins or less of extra features? especially for such a big and popular movie. i guess its better than the Beetlejuice anniversery edition which contained nothing but damn. lol

There's actually a really good (feature-length) commentary on the disc as well, and it has branching video featuring recent interiviews with cast and crew.

I was able to nab one for $6.. I went back about fifteen minutes later to nab a couple more for gifts and it was gone!
